Born to Win Warrior Nostra Ninja X Born to Win White Escobar
Sansa comes from Ffenics/Phoenix Kennels down in Wanaka, NZ.
Stephen imported Sansa's dam, Ninja, pregnant with Sansa's litter from the infamous working-line WSS kennel 'Born To Win Warrior' in Europe. Sansa's lineage has many impressive dogs with Champion titles, IGP titles and other sports titles. These lines excel in sports, work and family.
Sansa showcases incredible nerve and confidence. She is the best family dog, being gentle, incredibly tolerant and loving towards my two young children. She is ball obsessed, high toy and food drive and very handler focused. She lacks prey drive and doesn't chase wildlife. She can go all day, however, she has an excellent off switch at home and will nap in her favourite spots all day. She is people friendly with all ages, babies, children, adults and elderly. She is dog selective. She has her dog friend group, who she adores and doesn't care for unfamiliar dogs when out and about. Though, when approach by pushy, unfamiliar dogs who don't respect her cues, she can be pretty firm with setting boundaries. But happy to coexist with polite dogs. She grew up as my demo dog helping me train clients for my dog walking/training company that I owned and operated for a couple years before I become a full time stay-at-home mama. She is friendly with cats, small animals, livestock, birds, horses. She is your adventure buddy who never leaves your side.
Sansa is a small shepherd being only 24kgs. I like to say she is the sports model as she's fine, agile and very fast. Sansa has attended a few Champion shows which she has won various Best Of Breeds and a Reserve of Group. She has a couple challenge certificates towards gaining her Champion Title. Her front angulation is lacking with a short upper arm, which isn't uncommon amongst the breed. She has beautiful pigmentation, bright white coat and good bite.
We currently participate in DogsNZ Scent Detection. Sansa is calm, calculative and has a sharp nose. She is the kind of dog that would excel in a large variety of sports. We dabbled in agility for a bit, obedience and conformation shows. She's very versatile, clever and agile. We also enjoy teaching the odd trick at home which we love to show off to the kids at the park. A fan favourite is "Raptor", which is standing on her hind legs.
